Teaching & Lessons
Emily has over ten years teaching experience, University training and professional insight. She is given to education and engages her students, sharing her love for music and passion for the arts. The new or veteran student will be guided through fundamental music theory, sight reading and creativity.
Lessons
We offer private harp and beginner piano lessons to students of all ages. Lessons are held in Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas. These are scheduled weekly or bimonthly, in 30 or 60 minute increments.
Our instruction incorporates Classical and Contemporary music, technique, theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and composition. Students will be given the opportunity to perform in solo and ensemble settings, but will not be pressured to do so.
Harp rental / Purchase
Harp students will need an instrument at home for regular practice. For most, there are two options: rental or purchase. We have a small harp ideal for beginner students available for rental. We also serve as a guide in finding and purchasing a harp.
